World of Wonders -- A Children’s Adventure Garden opens Labor Day weekend at Norfolk Botanical Garden – and we’ve got your ticket to a special sneak peek. Come September, kids of all ages will be able to see the world without ever leaving Hampton Roads. Right now, we’re looking for friendly faces to show them the way on their wondrous journeys.
To learn more about adult, youth, and family volunteering in World of Wonders, join us SATURDAY, JUNE 10TH. Come to this open house and meet Patrick Mulligan, Children’s Garden Program Manager, and Debra Burrell, Volunteer Services Manager. Potential volunteers will also enjoy refreshments and most importantly, get a sneak peek at the Children’s Garden! Special preview tours run at 11:00 a.m., noon, and 1:00 p.m.
