Radio Disney AM 1650 Norfolk, part of the #1 radio network for kids and families, and X Games Consumer Products present RADIO DISNEY'S RIDE, ROCK & ROLL at Norfolk Botanical Garden on MONDAY, JUNE 16 (4:00 – 7:00 p.m.).
Radio Disney's Ride, Rock & Roll is a high energy, youth focused event that features BMX demonstrations by Wheels of Freestyle including a chance to meet the riders, safety clinics and fun contests for kids of all ages. Event is sponsored by Verizon Wireless, Virginia College Savings Plan and the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Radio Disney AM 1650 will be playing kid-driven, mom-approved music and games.
Radio Disney's Ride, Rock & Roll also features two national contests. Kids age 14 and under can register to win a Grand Prize package that includes a family trip for four to Los Angeles to attend X Games 14 (July 31 – August 3, 2008). Listeners can also design their own helmet – "Flip Your Lid" allows fans to enter their own helmet design into a local contest to win a full face helmet. Winners in each local market will compete against each other to win their helmet design made exclusively for them.

Bike Nights at Norfolk Botanical Garden are every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (4:00 – 7:00 p.m.). Ride your bike on 12 miles of paved paths through the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Free with the cost of Garden admission. Come and ride at Radio Disney’s Ride, Rock & Roll.
